The ADIGASA Foundation is delighted to celebrate the remarkable academic achievement of Andy Bubu, a young beneficiary whose inspiring journey continues to demonstrate that every child can succeed when given the opportunity, care, and support they deserve.

Andy, a pupil of Salvation Army Rehabilitation Primary School in Begoro, has achieved an outstanding performance in his Second Term 2026 End-of-Term Examinations, placing 1st in every subject he offered in his class.

According to his terminal report issued by the Ghana Education Service, Andy scored:

  • English – 90% (1st Position)
  • Mathematics – 92% (1st Position)
  • Science – 85% (1st Position)
  • Computing – 90% (1st Position)
  • Religious and Moral Education – 80% (1st Position)
  • History – 80% (1st Position)
  • Creative Arts & Design – 87% (1st Position)

His teachers described his performance as “Excellent” and “Very Good”, while also commending him for being respectful, co-operative, and encouraging him to “Keep it up.”

This outstanding achievement comes despite the difficult circumstances Andy has endured in his young life—a story that has inspired many supporters of the ADIGASA Foundation.

Following the release of his examination results, Andy was warmly visited by his mother, who expressed immense joy and pride in her son’s exceptional accomplishment. The emotional reunion served as a powerful reminder of the importance of family encouragement alongside educational support.

Andy also received special recognition from the Administrator of the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Primary School, Mr. Thomas Boateng-Gyan, who personally congratulated him for his hard work, discipline, and exemplary academic performance. Mr. Boateng-Gyan praised Andy as a shining example to his classmates, noting that determination and perseverance can overcome even the greatest challenges.

The Director of the ADIGASA Foundation, Mr. Carl Asagida, also commended Andy for his resilience and commitment to his education.

Andy Bubu, is a 13 year Old boy with moderate Cerebral palsy ( disability condition ). And through ADIGASA foundation’s intervention, the mother of Andy has gotten admission into ‘the Salvation Army’s Begoro Rehabilitation Centre for Andy’s condition to be managed in order for his future aspirations to be realized with accomplishment.

Andy is currently undergoing a series of therapy plans and training in relation to Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, mental health with general formal education (Basically on fine motor skills as a limitation, hand functional therapy among others in relation to physical or body posture and movement).

Andy is proven with his intellectual potentials and all professionals and officers handling him in the facility are making sure to bring the best out of him, as he’s aiming to become a Medical Doctor someday.

On December 15th, 2025, a long and painful chapter in the life of John — a young man from the Northern Region of Ghana — finally came to an end. After nearly six years of living with a debilitating hernia, enduring constant discomfort while working as a kebab seller on the streets of Accra, John emerged from surgery with renewed hope for the future. The procedure, fully supported by the ADIGASA Foundation, took place at the Achimota School Hospital and was declared a complete success by the medical team.

The morning after the surgery, the hospital ward was filled with a warm sense of relief, gratitude, and optimism. Present to visit and check on John’s recovery were Mr. Carl Asagida, Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ADIGASA Foundation, and Mr. Marcus Ntim Bempah, CEO of Van De Marc Ltd and Marcros Ghana Ltd, and a distinguished Patron of the Foundation. Their presence not only reassured John but also highlighted the Foundation’s deep commitment to walking with beneficiaries through every step of their journey — from identification to treatment and recovery.

John, though slightly tired from the procedure, was visibly overwhelmed with gratitude. The once constant pain that had shaped his daily existence was gone. He shared how the fear of the hernia worsening had haunted him for years, especially as he worked tirelessly to support his five siblings. Yet, on this day, he smiled — a gesture reflecting both relief and renewed strength.

Mr. Asagida expressed heartfelt satisfaction with John’s progress, acknowledging the resilience he had shown throughout the entire process. He emphasized that ADIGASA Foundation established its mission precisely for individuals like John — people whose potential and dignity deserve protection and support.

Standing beside him, Mr. Marcus Ntim Bempah commended John’s courage and reaffirmed his commitment as a Patron to support similar life-changing interventions. In November 2025, fate brought John into contact with the ADIGASA Foundation, whose mission is to uplift vulnerable individuals and transform lives through compassionate social interventions. During one of its community outreach engagements in Accra, the Foundation identified John’s condition and recognized the urgency for medical intervention. His story touched the hearts of the team, who immediately committed to supporting him through the process of receiving the surgical care he desperately needed.

John was taken to the Achimota School Hospital for a comprehensive medical screening, where doctors evaluated the severity and progression of his hernia. On 15th November 2025, the prestigious ballroom of the Marriott Hotel, Accra, came alive with inspiration, purpose, and celebration as humanitarian leaders, nonprofit organizations, and development advocates gathered for the 3rd Edition of the Philanthropic Awards – Charity Night, organized by the Advocacy for Legal Access Ghana. Among the honored institutions, Adigasa Foundation proudly emerged as an award recipient, marking a significant milestone in its journey of empowering underserved communities across Ghana.

The award serves as a remarkable recognition of the foundation’s impact-driven initiatives in education, healthcare, poverty alleviation, humanitarian support, community development, and environmental sustainability. Since its establishment in 2023, Adigasa Foundation has worked tirelessly to bridge social inequality and provide opportunities for marginalized individuals—especially children and vulnerable families—who often lack access to essential resources and support systems.

This achievement reflects the foundation’s dedication to delivering meaningful and sustainable programs. Notable among these efforts is the foundation’s maiden major outreach held on 28th February 2025, where four schools in the Pungu Township of the Navrongo District benefited from extensive educational donations including school uniforms, bags, learning materials, sanitary pads, drinking water, and other essential supplies. More than 175 students and teachers were positively impacted by this single act of generosity—demonstrating the foundation’s commitment to uplifting learning environments and reducing educational barriers.

Speaking on the recognition, Carl Asagida, Director of Adigasa Foundation, expressed profound appreciation for the honor, emphasizing that the award symbolizes a collective commitment to building a future where every child and community thrives. Adigasa Foundation Donates to Schools in Navrongo

Adigasa Foundation, a charitable organ- ization dedicated to empowering underprivi- leged communities, has made a significant donation to four schools in the Pungu township under the Navrongo District. The donation, which took place on February 28, 2025, benefited students and teachers of Wusungu Primary and Junior High School, as well as Nyangua Primary and Junior High School. The foundation donated essential educational materials and other supplies to enhance learning conditions for students. Items presented in cluded 40 yards of school uniforms, 400 school bags, 400 erasers, 100 pencils, 2,880 sanitary pads, 480 textbooks, 300 exercise books, 200 sharpeners, 150 pens, 20 bags of water, and 20 crates of soft drinks. The total number of students and teachers who benefited from this intervention is approximately 175.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Director of the Adigasa Foundation, Mr. Carl Asagida, emphasized the foundation’s commit- ment to bridging the gap in social inequality through sustainable development initiatives. “Education is the foundation of every progressive society, yet many children in underserved communities lack access to even the most basic school supplies. “Through this donation, we hope to not only ease the burden on these students and their families but also inspire them to strive for excellence in their education,” Mr. Asagida stated. He further highlighted the foundation’s focus on improving the livelihoods of vulnerable groups by providing support in healthcare, education, economic empowerment, and humanitarian aid. “We believe that every child, regardless of their background or economic situation, deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. “This is just the beginning of our journey to impact lives and create a better future for the next generation. We will continue to extend our support to other communities in need,” he added.

Teachers and students at the beneficiary schools expressed their gratitude for the generous gesture. A teacher from Nyangua Junior High School, Madam Abigail Atanga, described the donation as a timely intervention.

“Many of our students struggle to afford basic learning materials. With these supplies, we believe teaching and learning will be much easier, and our students will be more motivated to stay in school,” she said. The Adigasa Foundation, founded in 2023, has been at the forefront of charitable efforts to support underprivileged communities across Ghana.

The organization has undertaken various initiatives in health, education, poverty alleviation, and community development. Mr. Asagida assured that this donation is just one of many to come as the foundation continues its mission of providing hope and equal opportunities to the less privileged.
